Article IV Membership

Section 1: Membership in the Association shall be open to interested individuals who hold instructional and/or instruction-support appointments at Roger Williams University. These shall be all faculty holding full-time appointments and all faculty teaching more than one course per semester in the day program; all directors and developers of academic centers and workshops, audio-visual and instructional media, and academic computing; librarians with degrees in library science; all Counseling Center Therapists; and, such other individuals or groups as the Association, through majority vote of any general meeting, may deem appropriate to the interests and purposes of the Association.

Section 2:  Active membership in the Association shall commence with the completion of the RWUFA membership enrollment form and the form’s submission to the President, Treasurer, or Chair of the Membership Committee of the RWUFA.  All members shall be entitled to all membership rights, including, but not limited to, voting at meetings and in elections.

Section 3: Active membership in the Association shall be contingent upon the payment of assessed dues and charges declared by the Association and its affiliates.
